In what seems to be another applause for quality service delivery, the High Commissioner, Kenya High Commission to Nigeria, His Excellency, Mr Isaac Parashina has showered encomium on the Federal Road Safety Corps for efficient deployment of technology in achieving its corporate mandate of eradicating road crashes and making the highways safe.
He stated this during an official visit to the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed at the national headquarters of the Commission today Wednesday 31 July, 2024.
According to the High Commissioner, ” Going by what I have seen in terms of technology, the Kenyan Road Traffic Management Authority will always be open to learning from the FRSC. We just need to cross our imaginary boundaries and learn from each other while establishing strong collaborations, including in the area of capacity building”.
He emphasised that road safety guarantees not only human lives, but also plays cardinal role in guaranteeing the protection of properties from crash related damages and destructions.
Responding, the Corps Marshal appreciated him for the visit, stating that the Corps is also open to learning at all times as there are still things that the Corps could learn from the Kenyan Authority.
Speaking further, he explained that the Corps is presently witnessing a massive rebirth and repositioning on all fronts, most especially in the areas of training and human development as well as in operations.
Corps Marshal Shehu welcomed the proposition of the High Commissioner for a partnership and fruitful collaborations, assuring that the Corps operates an open door policy, as such, will welcome all forms of partnership that aligns with it’s statutory mandate.
